The previous Subway

This is the previous vision of Subway in 2021, not too much difference except some editing issue, like the bed remove of color mask in this one. Some of these photos have extreme high noise: 1 and 2. I believe that’s due to the underexposure, I suppose to choose a higher ISO film in this project for shot in dark environment.

One aspect I find somewhat regrettable is that the project doesn’t fully encapsulate the unique aura that the subway brings into our lives. The subway has become such a static feature in our daily routine—going to the same stations, sitting in the same seats—that we often overlook its dynamic potential. Venturing just one station further can lead to entirely new experiences that we’ve never encountered before. I have been to the end station of the blue line in 2021 during the production of this project, I saw a beach at there, it is not just the end of subway, but also the bus, even the airplane. I never realized this place was so close to my life, this is the unbelievable adventure bring by the subway.
