The previous Subway
This is the previous vision of Subway in 2021, not too much difference except some editing issue, like the bed remove of color mask in this one. Some of these photos have extreme high noise: 1 and 2. I believe that’s due to the underexposure, I suppose to choose a higher ISO film in this project for shot in dark environment.
The difference between Subway and Boston is this time, I had a very clear theme—the subway system. This effectively ties together the daily lives of people across the city and captures the complexity of the subway itself in both dynamic and static aspects. I gained some experience in shooting subway images during the Boston project, and I successfully developed that into this new project.
I have reached to the end station of the blue line in 2021 during the production of this project, I saw a beach at there, it is not just the end of subway, but also the bus, even the airplane. I never realized this place was so close to my life, this is the unbelievable adventure bring by the subway.
